Take your Cyanotype skills to the next level in this hands-on, virtual workshop designed for those with a basic understanding of sunprinting. In this advanced course, you'll explore creative techniques like layering exposures and using everyday kitchen ingredients – such as teas, spices, and natural acids – to alter the tones, textures, and depth of your prints.
  • Through guided experimentation, you'll learn how to push the boundaries of traditional Cyanotype and develop a more personal, expressive approach to the process.
  • Whether you're aiming to expand your artistic toolkit or refine your Cyanotype practise, this workshop offers inspiration, technical insight, and plenty of opportunity for creative play – all from the comfort of your own home.
What you'll get in your craft kit
The kit contains 2 bottles of the two chemicals needed (Part A and Part B), 8 sheets of 6x4 watercolour paper, a pipette, stirrer, a pair of gloves, and a sponge brush.
Knowledge required
This course is beginner-friendly; however, a working knowledge of the basic cyanotype process would be beneficial.
What you'll need
Plastic cups and a plastic or class tray. Ingredients such as vinegar, coffee and tea will be required for toning.
